Your eligible insurance plan may cover products like adult diapers/briefs, protective underwear/pull-ups, bladder control pads, liners, male guards, underpads (chux), and more! And, these supplies may be available to you at little to no cost to you.
To be eligible for incontinence supplies through your health plan or other insurance the following is required:
- Documentation (prescription) from a physician, within the last six months, that the items you want are considered medically-necessary. Because we will contact your physician for a prescription, it’s helpful if you let your doctor know in advance that you are working with ActivStyle.
- You have an insurance plan that is contracted with ActivStyle. Contact ActivStyle and a representative can tell you if ActivStyle is in-network with your plan. Many Medicaid and Managed Medicaid plans offer coverage for bladder control/incontinence supplies. Medicare and most commercial insurances do not cover these supplies.

Does Medicare cover incontinence products? No, Medicare does not currently offer coverage for any absorbent incontinence products like bladder control pads, adult briefs (diapers), pull-ups, etc. However, depending on your coverage, you may have options through a Medicaid Managed Care plan or a private insurance company’s Medicare Advantage plan.
