- Insurance Information – We collect your current insurance plans and your member/policy IDs to verify what products and supplies are covered. We collect information on all applicable insurances including Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial insurance to see which plan(s) will cover the medical supplies that you want.
Step 2: Verify Your Insurance
After we have collected your information, our Insurance Verification Team will verify your insurance by:
- Confirming your insurance is valid and active.
- Ensuring the requested products and supplies are covered by your plan.
- Completing the insurance paperwork your plan requires.
Step 3: Secure Prescription and Medical Information
After insurance verification, our Document Management Team will contact your doctor for a prescription and any required medical information. This step usually takes longer than other steps for a few reasons:

- If you haven’t been to your doctor in a while, they may need to see you before they provide a prescription.
- Any error may require the paperwork to be redone. Insurance plans have strict guidelines for completing paperwork and if it is not completed properly, we may have to go back to your doctor for a correction.
